Privacy at Sideline Budget
The short version: the calculator keeps nothing, we never sell your information, and we only have your email if you give it to us.
The season cost calculator
The calculator runs entirely in your browser. The numbers you type in (fees, tournaments, travel, gear) are never sent to us or stored on our servers. Your browser may remember your region and area choices on your own device so they are there next time; you can clear them any time by clearing site data.
If you join the email list
When you sign up for the free Season Checklist or our emails, we collect your email address and, if you give it, your first name. Our email service, Kit, stores that information and sends the emails for us. We use it to send what you asked for and occasional budgeting tips. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can ask us to delete your information at any time.
If you buy a template
Budget templates are sold through Kit, and payments are processed by Kit's payment provider. We never see or store your card number. We receive your name, email and what you bought so we can deliver the template and help if something goes wrong.
Site analytics
We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies and does not track you across other sites. It tells us things like how many people visited and which guides they read, not who you are.
What we don't do
- No ad trackers. If we add display ads in the future, we will say so here first and update this page.
- No selling or renting your information
- No accounts or passwords
Kids
Sideline Budget is written for parents and team managers. It is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
